The Foundation supports high-quality empirical studies designed to improve youth settings and increase our understanding of how those settings work. We are also focused on understanding how and under what conditions research evidence is used to influence policy and practice that affect youth.
Our 2011 Annual Report is now available. The Report features an essay by Foundation President Robert C. Granger reviewing our work on improving the quality of after-school programs. A second essay, by Lawrence D. Moreland, senior vice president for finance and administration, takes a look at our investment strategy and its impact on the Foundation as a whole over our 75 year history.
Letters of inquiry for our investigator-initiated grants are due on August 1, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. EST. All letters should be submitted through our online system.
